Covenant Character Profile
CinJen Hawking
Apostle of Swords
Quest of Swords · Covenant Archdiocese
"The sword does not choose its wielder. The Archdiocese does."
CinJen Hawking did not seek the sword — the sword found him. A Prophet of the Covenant by training and temperament, he spent years navigating the Archdiocese's labyrinthine politics, serving the Archbishop with quiet precision and an unsettling gift for reading the room before the room knew what it was.
When the Archdiocese voted to grant the Quest of Swords, they were not choosing a warrior. They were choosing a man who understood that the most dangerous weapon in any faction is not the one pointed at an enemy — it is the one that knows exactly when to be drawn.
Named Apostle of Swords by the Archbishop himself, CinJen received the white-and-crimson Apostle Corps uniform as both honor and burden. The Covenant's Quests are not assignments. They are transformations. And CinJen Hawking has never been the same man twice.
"He was given a sword and told to find what it was for. He is still looking — and the Covenant is counting on it."

Apostle Corps Uniform
The white-and-crimson Apostle Corps uniform is not worn — it is earned. Issued only upon formal appointment by the Archbishop following an Archdiocese vote, it marks the wearer as an active bearer of a Covenant Quest. The crimson chevrons signal the Quest of Swords: a mandate with no fixed end date and no defined parameters. The star emblem of the Covenant Archdiocese is worn over the heart.
